Here at Farpoint we have recognized the need to introduce training to our store at Walcot Street and are offering training to suit the needs of our customer base in a relaxed and friendly approach.

We are offering individual, tailored training and group training on all things Mac from the most basic to the most advanced and welcome any feedback from our customers as to what they might require.

We will also carry out training at your premises if required.  The benefits of being shown how to do something and learning at your own pace and in your own environment will reduce stress levels and make using your mac a more pleasurable experience!

Introduction to Mac OS X

This course is an essential tool to saving you time and making best use of your Mac. On completion you will feel more confident and able to negotiate your way around this fantastic operating system.

Individual Tailored Training

Here at Farpoint we appreciate that there are times when you need to do something on your Mac but just don’t know how. Enter “Tailored” training. We will help you with any Mac related issue from using iTunes, iPhoto or just making the best use of managing your documents. We will work at your own pace to help you achieve your goals, whether you are creating a masterpiece in Garageband or building your first website using Apple’s own iWeb.

£25 per hour (price includes VAT)

iPhone and iPad Training

This is a brand new course for those looking to get the most out of their iPhone or iPad.

We can walk you through the process of setting it up with your Mac or PC for the first time, right through to how to sync email accounts and your favourite iTunes playlists.
