Apple security update

- Posted Wednesday 20 January 2010 by Liz Hyde

Apple has pushed out a major security update designed to crush a dozen security bugs, some of which present a critical security risk on unpatched systems. Many of the fixes involve flaws in third-party applications bundled with Mac OS X, rather than the flaws in the OS itself.

Customers are advised to software update their machines as soon as possible.  You can do so by clicking on the small, black apple in the top left corner of your screen.  Select “Software Update”  A small screen/box will open saying, “checking for new Software” which will take a few moments.  Follow the on screen instructions from there.
