This is to let you know all you Logic users out there that buried in the transport bar is a feature you can turn on called Capture Recording.
A great feature but not widely known if you have been playing along with your latest composition and forgot to hit record or just realised the part you played was a winner it’s not gone!
By using capture record you can bring the part last played back into your recording.
To enable this feature in Logic 9 secondary click the transport bar and tick the box marked Capture Recording, then a new button will appear next to the record key.
Now when you have played your winning riff but forgot or didn’t record it hit the capture record button and it will appear as if you had recorded it.
Hope this adds to your creative experience of this great program.
