Thank you for calling….

The phones are always going here at Farpoint, but 50% of those calls all ask the same questions, so I thought I would share them with you to save you having to pick up the phone:

  • "Do I need to make an appointment to come in to see you?"  No, please come in anytime that suits you, we are now open 7 days a week.
  • "Do you do training?" – Yes and its only £25 per hour!!  Not to mention it's one-2-one, at a pace to suit you.
  • "Should I back my computer up?" – Yes, please do, its really hard telling someone that they have lost all their precious photos. Every Mac has a program called Time Machine which automatically backs up your data for you, in the background whilst you work, to a storage device of your choosing (make sure this device is plugged in to your network).
  • "Can I extend my warranty?" – Yes, but you must do it before the first year anniversary from your purchase date and we can take care of it all for you.  Ask us about Horizon Care. Not only are you covered for 3 years from the original date of purchase of you machine but it entitles you to Farpoint FastTrack repair service, remote support sessions (worth £380) and free Farpoint Telephone Support (£35 per incident when contacting Apple directly), familiar and local Farpoint Technicians and all of this for the same price as standard AppleCare.  You can't say fairer than that!
