Rapport and Apple Pro Apps don’t play nice together!
You have a professional machine that you are using for your professional work, and for some reason you don't have a separate system (or at least a separate user account) for your personal stuff, web surfing, email, internet banking.

Internet banking, how could that be problematic?
Well it is due to a new piece of security software being pushed upon us by the banks. It's called rapport and is available as a plug in for your web browser.
Only problem is that when you have Q-Master installed on your machine (which you will have in the pro apps) the two don't mix well. To be precise when launching a pro app, rapport will cause an error report to be constantly generated which can take up to 90% of your processing power, causing your expensive and fast machine to feel very much from the dark ages.

Solution - don't install rapport on your work machine, but failing that have it in a separate user account where you intend only to do things like web browsing and email.

If you have already installed rapport simply going to it's preference panel and switching it off will stop the error report from being generated.
